The Ellis’ were curators of “Make-do” antiques and handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces. Items that had special meaning to them, or so rare they were never offered for sale. This auction is a culmination of a lifetime of the best and unique items from their personal collection. Gary and Carol, were perhaps a couple of the most knowledgeable and astute members of the antiques trade that we had the honor in knowing.
